We Need Diverse Books is a project dedicated to diversity of every kind in YA lit. They're full of resources for helping readers find diverse literature, and also for sharing it, both between individuals and also in the classroom and the community. It's a young organization, but they're already planning the first-ever Children's Literature Diversity Festival to be held in Washington D.C. in 2016.
